Solar axions in large extra dimensions

The axion could be used as a probe for extra dimensions. In large dimensions, besides the QCD one obtains an infinite tower of massive Kaluza-Klein (KK) states. We describe processes KK axions production in Sun via axion-photon coupling, $g_{a\gamma\gamma}$, and we derive number density that get trapped into solar gravitational field then accumulate over cosmic times. multiplicity states, well their masses keV-range, deeply alter phenomenology axion. This scenario leads us to propose presence interpretation non-thermal distribution X-rays. this work, dedicate special attention on astrophysical cosmological bounds apply model. particular, show how may escape EBL limit constrains standard ALPs same mass range. Present searches make use decay channel, $a\rightarrow\gamma\gamma$, which revise event rate; our value lies orders magnitude below rate usually quoted literature. major conclusion stems from recent measurements luminosity quiet acts irreducible limit. revised model remains viable attractive explanation multiple observations, several approaches search near future.
